few days ago was in Paris Isa. Before leaving he asked me what I wanted from there. Normally as souvenirs of any country ask magazines. Because among other things, is a gift not a great challenge, not expensive and you can leave it to the end, to the airport (and now the way the person who brings you reading for the trip).
The fact is that although I was expecting something kind Vogue, Elle and Grazia, Isa surprised me with a beautiful fashion magazine, 1949.
course, at that time fashion was not as aspirational as now. There was no street style and big publishers. The readers knew how to sew and each model is drawn flat with option to purchase the pattern (which I guess would be requested by mail.)
It's just great to find these gems in the markets of Paris.
and have friends that bring you as original gifts.
