seems that in Poland during the communist era, milkbars proliferated.
The milkbars are super cheap canteens or restaurants today still retain the spirit of communism. Very kitsch, but mostly desolate. It is as if is it the time had stopped back in the 80's.
I love to look at photographs awakened in me some kind of feeling or memory. And that I've ever been in or have visited Poland milkbar.
I have to say that the furniture of some of these images, specifically turquoise chairs, distant memories bring me to cause me some grief.
This project has made the photographer Nicolas Grospierre , and you can see all your photos here. It seems amazing color palette and does not rule out using it for any other project I have in mind.
And now I have a tremendous need to visit Poland.
